April’s Babe of the Month is Becky. She’s 23 and as you’ll see in the following Q & A, she plays Halo 3 whenever possible. You can jump straight to the pictures at the bottom or check out the article first...
Q: What was your first thought when you found out you would be XF’s first babe of the month? After thinking, "Who!?!?!"
A: Well, my first initial reaction was actually pure shock; I thought maybe it was joke. After re-reading the email a couple times, I was rather flattered, and decided, why not! I’ll participate! Q: In your pictures you’re holding Halo 3. Is that really your favorite game?
A: Very much so! I have been hooked on Bungie’s Halo game series since the first time I played HALO 1. When HALO 2 was first made pre-orderable, I was at the nearest game stop ASAP, reserving my copy! And I can’t believe I stood in line to pick it up. This was a first for me. I had never been so excited about anything to actually stand in line late at night for a couple hours, especially for a video game! And HALO 3 was no exception! It was definitely the video game highlight of the year for me in ’07. From the beta to the release, I couldn’t get enough. But aside from that, I also like to occasionally play Gears of War.
Q: What was the first game console that really got you into gaming?
A: Well, growing up my parents strongly discouraged video game playing. It wasn’t till my senior year of high school that a friend got me started out on the Nintendo systems; Game Cube, PS2 & N64. After high school, I had moved out, bought my very first gaming consol (the Original XBOX) and now… I’m a game junkie!
Q: On average, how many hours a week do you play games?
A: Wow, this is hard to answer. A few months ago I ranged from 60 to 80 hours a week. I was going to work in the morning, then coming home in the afternoon and “Halo-ing” it up, till the wee hours of the night. But lately it has not been so. I must be getting old, because it seems life allows me less and less opportunities for game time… I now play only about a few hours a night, if I’m lucky.
Q: Guitar Hero or Rock Band?
A: I haven’t gotten around to Rock Band yet, but I have played Guitar Hero with some of my friends, which was pretty fun.
