As you obviously know by know, Xbox LIVE is down for maintenance and will return. So don't jump out of any third story windows or doing something even more drastic like sign up for PSN. Details on the maintenance follow:
The service is being prepared for the new Xbox experience, which will not be released until later in the fall.
Xbox EMEA community manager Graeme 'AceyBongos' Boyd confirmed the downtime. More details on exactly when it's coming will follow, he said.
Microsoft has updated the official Xbox 360 webpage to match the new style of the 360's future dashboard.
The main Xbox site now has advertising for content and features that will arrive with the fall update, presented in an updated dashboard style.
