Mad Catz has announced today that it has renewed and expanded its licensing agreement with Microsoft Corporation for Xbox 360 branded console carriers. (i.e. backpacks and cases) Complete press release follows:

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. (AMEX/TSX: MCZ), a leading third-party interactive entertainment accessory provider, announced today that it has renewed and expanded its multi-year licensing agreement with Microsoft Corporation (“Microsoft”). Pursuant to the agreement, Mad Catz has extended its rights to manufacture, market, and sell Xbox 360- branded console-carrying backpacks and messenger bags, as well as sling bags for controllers and other game accessories. The rights relate to North America, Western Europe and Australia.
