And now, more evidence, as spotted by PSBeyond, says this just might happen: several UK retailers, including Play.com, GamePlay, and Game.com, suddenly have listings for a PS3 version of Left 4 Dead . This doesn't change what Valve said and it doesn't change the fact that Valve really doesn't like the PS3, but they could just dump the development duties onto EA again. They did that with The Orange Box , remember? Either way, it's just more fuel for the rumor fire, so you can take it as you will. Survival/horror fans watched in disappointment as Alone in the Dark fell flat so they're not all that excited about the PS3 version's release in November. When it's all said and done though, why wouldn't you expect a port later on? This industry loves money. Unless MS was paying for this exclusive, what's stopping Valve from making more dough by releasing a PS3 port later? Hope I didn't just add to the rumor fire.

The game is still officially not coming to the PS3 and only set to be available for the Xbox 360 and Windows LIVE. Valve cleared up the previous rumor by simply stating there are currently no plans to produce the highly-anticipated survival/horror title for Sony's Blu-ray player.
